Check out Helen Tseng blog on How to Ride an escalator! Tseng gives you the do's and don't of riding an escalator! It's colorful and fun. From this blog if the words weren't clear enough the picture certainly sums up what the proper etiquette is for riding an escalator! This tells us that we should not block traffic or do inappropriate things while on an escalator. Although it is not identical to my idea it is in the same family and relates because the list of DON'Ts are definitely things that should not be done on my flat moving escalator!
I think that Tseng did an effective job with this blog post. It isn't exactly what I think of when I think blog post, in fact I had to double check to make sure that it constituted as a blog, but I like that it came with a picture to explain the DO & DON'Ts of escalators. I think that bulleting the words along with the picture was effective.
I Like the idea of posting a picture in with the blog, it's something that never has really crossed my mind, so I thank Tseng for that. I do believe that I would be a little bit more conservative with my language in a blog, but hey its personal preference!

A picture is worth a lot of words!
A cure for becoming so tired so fast at amusement parks! I have come up with an idea that will help cure boredom and that tired feeling. My idea is an escalator that has chairs with TV's installed in them. This escalator will move you up to the front of the line, while providing you with entertainment! Fatigue and laziness solved!
Everyone loves to get off an amusement park ride and see the funny pictures that were taking of them while they were on the ride! Thats the best part of my invention, not only are you able to see the picture at the end of the ride but you can mess around with it through photoshop! You can change the colors and effects to whatever you want.
There are a bunch of benefits for using photoshop to get the desired photo you want. This way you can crop out the people that you don't know or don't want in your picture. Lets face it there can be some awkward people in pictures that you may not want to see! Photoshop solves this problem and also allows you to do many other things to enhance your picture
The best part of this is that photoshop allows you to add a text to the photo. This way you can write whatever you want on your picture before you print it out. By doing this you have a memory of the ride and the text to remind you of when it was! After you are finished and happy with your photo it is printed out for you and yours to take home!

Compare and contrast!
My idea is an escalator that contains chairs with TV’s and
access to social media sites on the screens. These escalators would be the flat
escalators that would bring people up to the front of the amusement line so
that you wouldn’t have to walk all the way to the front of the line. This way
you are able to sit instead of having to wait standing up. This would make
peoples experience even more enjoyable at the amusement parks.

Competitor 1 overview: This escalator created by Jesse Reno, moves just like my idea would. It is a conveyor belt that moves forward just like mine. The only differences are that I would like my invention to have chairs installed on it with TV's and it wouldn't move upwards at a 25 degree angle, instead my idea would be flat. It would also be much longer than the conveyor belts that most people are used to seeing.

Competitor 2 Overview: This is what is called a moving walkway. This is semi where my idea originated from. They use this in airports, stations, and shopping center. Mine would be used in the amusement parks instead of the areas it is used for now. The difference again between these are although it is a flat moving walkway mine will have seats installed on it with TV's! These two inventions are very similar, but mine will be much longer than the moving walkways most people are used to seeing. The only other difference is that most people are used to these moving in a straight line. This will not be the case for my invention, it will have to be able to make turns just like a real amusement park line would be like.
My idea for this moving walkway came from both of these inventions that you have read about above. These inventions have been tweaked a little to better fit the amusement park shape. What I mean by this is, when you are standing in line at the amusement park the lines are not normally straight. My invention would be shaped to fit the curves and turns that occur while waiting in line! Other than that the idea of the moving walkway is basically the foundation for my product.

Inside the screen!
A cure for becoming so tired so fast at amusement parks! I have come up with an idea that will help cure boredom and that tired feeling. My idea is an escalator that has chairs with TV's installed in them. This escalator will move you up to the front of the line, while providing you with entertainment!
It can be scary to think that people can access your person information so easily! If you decide to take advantage of the monitiors that are installed in the back of the chairs you can log yourself into any of your social media cites. Once you stand up from your chair all your person information and account information is logged off and erased IMMEDIATELY! This saves everyone from people hacking on to their accounts and messing with their personal information.
When the user logs on the information will be stores in the Cache department of the hard drive because this is only a temporary memory. This screens will have small hard drives because there is no need for each one to have a large one due to the fact that people will not be storing information on these. At the end of the night when the park closes these computer/tvs will be set to erase the days activity so that noone can gain access to these accounts anymore.
There is no need to worry about identity theift. There will be someone who is monitioring each computer/tv monitior just to make sure nothing bad is going on! Certain actions will be limited especially because amusement parks are kid friendly!
